Validate critical supplier information before money moves.
Realm ID integrates with Peresoft EFTXpress to validate
vendor banking details against trusted digital identity
information before an EFT batch is processed.
Strengthen payment security
Prevent fraud and misdirected
payments
Maintain audit trails and compliance
Strong payment controls need trusted information
Peresoft provides Sage 300 finance teams with established controls around payment processing, authorisation and auditability.
But even a well-controlled payment process ultimately depends on the information entering it.
Supplier bank details can change.
Emails can be compromised.
Requests can be impersonated.
Information that was correct when captured may not remain correct indefinitely.
Realm ID introduces an additional validation layer so that critical information can be checked when it matters – rather than relying only on previously captured data.
Peresoft controls the payment process.
Realm ID helps validate the information behind the payment.
Together, they strengthen the path between supplier information and payment execution.
How Realm ID works with Peresoft
1. Supplier information is established
The supplier provides its identity and relevant business information through Realm ID, including the banking information required for the payment relationship.
2. Information can be validated
Relevant identity and banking information is validated through the Realm ID ecosystem and associated with the supplier's digital identity.
3. Peresoft reaches the payment workflow
The finance team continues working through its familiar Sage 300 and Peresoft environment.
4. Banking details are checked
Before the EFT batch proceeds, EFTXpress can validate the vendor banking information against the information held through Realm ID.
5. A mismatch triggers intervention
If the banking information does not match, the batch can be blocked and the user alerted for investigation.
6. The payment continues through existing controls
Where the information aligns, the transaction continues through Peresoft's established authorisation and payment process.
Designed to complement Peresoft
Realm ID does not replace Peresoft’s existing payment security, approval or audit controls.
It complements them.
Peresoft Cashbook and EFTXpress already provide capabilities such as payment processing, security permissions, authorisation workflows and audit controls within the Sage 300 environment.
Realm ID adds another question to that process:
Is the beneficiary information being used for this payment consistent with the trusted information associated with this supplier?
This creates a stronger relationship between:
Supplier identity → Banking information → Payment workflow → Authorisation → Execution
So How Does it Work?
Realm plugs directly into your existing Peresoft systems via a simple API. This means you have embedded, secure digital identity checks built directly into your current workflows.
The result? Seamless integration into your existing processes, and trusted compliance built into every transaction.

Peresoft Cashbook Version 2026 to bring new levels of payment security with Realm Digital IDs
This new feature by MWare Consulting and Realm will embed digital ID capabilities directly into Peresoft’s Cashbook within the Sage 300 ERP environment, delivering what MWare Consulting describes as a "foundational shift in how organisations across South Africa and the African continent can validate identities, authenticate transactions and secure payment workflows".
Peresoft 2026 release steps up security, adds more features
Changes to vendor banking details remain one of the most common sources of payment fraud. The new authorisation process for Miscellaneous Codes was introduced specifically to address this risk, ensuring that sensitive configuration changes are subject to the same level of scrutiny as payment batches and are fully traceable for audit purposes.
Why SA’s largest companies choose Peresoft to manage payment risk
Financial fraud is no longer a peripheral concern for large organisations. It sits on audit committee agendas, features in board risk registers and has become a direct reputational exposure for listed companies. The question for CFOs and their teams is not whether controls are needed, but whether the systems they rely on can actually enforce them.

The Problems We Solve
Closing the Gaps That Hold Businesses Back
Fraud & Impersonation
From payroll fraud to AI-driven deepfakes, businesses face mounting threats. Realm Digital ID combines verified identity with tamper-proof digital signatures, ensuring only the right people can access systems, approve payments, or sign contracts.
Inefficient Processes
Paper forms, manual verification, and wet signatures waste time and money. Realm replaces these outdated steps with frictionless, digital-first workflows—cutting costs, speeding up transactions, and giving you full audit trails every step of the way.
Poor Customer & Employee Experience
Long onboarding forms, repeated identity checks, and fragmented systems frustrate users. Realm solves this with a “verify once, transact anywhere” approach, pre-populating forms and enabling one-click transactions to keep experiences fast, seamless, and user-friendly.
