Realm Expands into the United States with the Formation of Realm USA

Realm is proud to announce the formation of Realm USA and the appointment of Mark Vigoroso as North American President, marking the next stage in the company’s international growth and the expansion of its global partner network.

The announcement follows a period of significant evolution for the Realm and Realyst businesses.

At the start of 2025, Realyst announced a restructuring alongside the establishment of Realm in the United Kingdom and the commencement of a new initiative focused on digital identity.

Since then, the development of Realm ID has progressed into a market-ready product, while the intellectual property behind RealContract, RealSign and related technologies has transferred to Realm UK. Realyst has continued to operate and support its existing clients and relationships during this transition.

These developments have created the foundation for Realm to take its products and partner strategy into a broader international market.

Building digital trust into existing business processes

Businesses have become increasingly effective at digitising processes and connecting the systems that support them. But as more information, decisions and transactions move digitally between people, organisations and systems, establishing trust within those interactions becomes increasingly important.

Realm’s product portfolio is positioned around this challenge.

Realm ID provides an identity, information and verification layer for trusted business interactions. It is designed to help organisations improve the quality and reliability of information used within their processes, reduce fraud risk and create more efficient customer and business experiences.

One area where this becomes particularly important is payments and changes to sensitive financial information. Rather than relying solely on information captured previously or received through channels such as email, Realm ID provides a way for trusted information to be incorporated into existing organisational processes and validated when required.

RealSign provides electronic signing capabilities that can operate independently or be embedded directly into third-party software.

The embedded model is particularly important to Realm’s international partner strategy. Instead of requiring users to leave the application in which they are already working and move into a separate signing environment, signing can become part of the existing digital process.

For software partners, this creates an opportunity to extend the capabilities available within their own solutions, provide customers with a more seamless digital experience and potentially create additional revenue streams around embedded services.

RealContract complements these capabilities through comprehensive contract lifecycle management, supporting organisations across the contract lifecycle from request and drafting through approvals, execution, obligations, renewals and reporting.

While these are three distinct products, they share a broader principle: helping organisations introduce greater trust and efficiency into the systems and processes where business already happens.

Growing through partnerships

Partnerships remain central to Realm’s growth strategy.

Over the past year, Realm has continued to develop relationships with like-minded organisations across Africa while building new relationships internationally.

Rather than approaching international expansion solely through a centralised sales model, Realm’s strategy is to develop strong regional relationships and an ecosystem of software, technology and business partners that can bring Realm capabilities into the markets and processes they already serve.

Growing interest and new relationships in North America have now created the opportunity to establish a dedicated presence in the United States.

Introducing Realm USA

The formation of Realm USA gives the business a local presence from which to develop its North American market, partner network and customer relationships.

Mark Vigoroso has been appointed North American President and will lead Realm’s development in the region.

Mark brings extensive industry and commercial experience, together with an established network of senior executive and C-suite relationships. His market knowledge, relationships and business development experience will support Realm as it introduces its products to new organisations and develops sustainable opportunities across North America.

Realm USA will focus on expanding awareness and adoption of the Realm product portfolio, developing relationships with prospective clients and strategic partners, and growing a broader partner ecosystem.

The US operation will also play an important role in identifying new sectors and opportunities for Realm’s technologies and bringing additional market knowledge, software delivery experience and industry expertise into the wider Realm group.

Local presence. International collaboration.

While Realm USA creates a dedicated presence in North America, it will work closely with Realm’s existing teams and partner network.

The objective is not simply geographical expansion. It is to build a broader collaborative ecosystem through which expertise, market knowledge, technology and commercial opportunities can be shared across regions.

The establishment of Realm USA therefore represents another step in Realm’s broader strategy to extend the reach of its products through strong regional partnerships while continuing to build a collaborative international ecosystem.

For existing clients and partners, Realm’s commitment remains unchanged. International expansion provides an opportunity to add greater depth of expertise, relationships and market insight to the group while continuing to invest in the products and partnerships that have brought the business to this point.

Looking ahead

The formation of Realm USA marks an exciting next chapter for Realm.

As businesses become more digital, interconnected and automated, we believe establishing trust in the people, organisations and information participating in those processes will become increasingly important.

Realm’s goal is to help make that trust part of the digital infrastructure businesses already use- through identity, information, verification, electronic signing and contract lifecycle management.

With an expanding partner network across Africa, a growing international presence and now a dedicated team in the United States, we look forward to building the next stage of that journey together.
